You deserve to feel heard

You are worthy of feeling better

When was the last time you invested in you?

It doesn’t have to feel this way.

Change isn’t easy — especially when you’ve been carrying pain or stress for a long time. After a while, it can start to feel like this is just how life is. But it doesn’t have to be.
Therapy is a space to pause, breathe, and begin caring for yourself again — one small step at a time.

“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”

Individual Counseling

Individual therapy offers a private, confidential space where you can feel safe, heard, and supported. I help adults facing anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem challenges, and the emotional effects of cancer. Together, we’ll build coping skills and work toward healing and growth at your own pace.

Therapy for Anxiety

When working with anxiety, I help you understand what your mind and body are communicating. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts and patterns that keep anxiety going and learn ways to calm your mind and nervous system. Using cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches, we’ll build coping skills, confidence, and resilience—helping you feel more grounded and at ease.

Therapy for Trauma

My approach to trauma therapy is gentle and compassionate. I want you to feel safe, supported, and never rushed as you begin your healing journey. Together, we’ll explore how your experiences have shaped your thoughts, emotions, and body. Using tools like EMDR, mindfulness, and grounding, we’ll work to ease distress, restore a sense of calm and control, and help you reconnect with hope and strength.

Group Counseling

Group therapy offers a supportive space to connect with others who understand what you’re going through. I currently offer two groups—one for anxiety and another for companion animal grief and loss—where participants can share, learn coping skills, and heal together. Groups begin once five participants have registered; please reach out if you’re interested or would like more details.

How can i support you

  • When working with anxiety, I focus on helping you understand what your mind and body are trying to tell you. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, patterns, and triggers that keep anxiety in motion and learn ways to calm both the mind and nervous system. I often use cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based techniques to build coping skills, self-esteem, and confidence. Over time, therapy can help you feel more grounded, resilient, and able to handle life’s challenges with greater ease.

  • Therapy offers a space to understand what’s causing your stress and how it affects your body and mind. I work with clients to identify triggers and develop healthy coping strategies that fit their lifestyle and personality. Together, we focus on building resilience, emotional regulation, and self-care practices that promote balance and calm. Over time, you’ll gain tools to manage challenges more effectively and feel more in control, even when life feels overwhelming.

  • I take a gentle, trauma-informed approach to therapy, creating a space where you can feel safe and supported as you begin to heal. Together, we’ll work to understand how trauma has impacted your thoughts, emotions, and body. I often use techniques like EMDR and grounding strategies to help you process painful memories, reduce distress, and regain a sense of calm and control. My goal is to help you move from surviving to living—with more peace, connection, and confidence.

  • Therapy can help you see yourself with greater compassion and clarity. Together, we explore the thoughts and experiences that may have shaped how you view yourself, while identifying patterns that hold you back. I help clients build self-awareness, confidence, and a stronger sense of self-worth through reflection, skill-building, and encouragement. The goal is not just to quiet self-doubt—but to help you feel more grounded, capable, and aligned with the person you want to be.

  • Grief looks different for everyone—there’s no “right” way or timeline to move through it. The loss of a companion animal can bring unique challenges. This type of loss is often accompanied by disenfranchised grief—a form of grief that isn’t always acknowledged or supported by others. It happens when society minimizes or overlooks the loss, leaving you to grieve without the understanding or validation you deserve.

In therapy, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly about your loss. Together, we’ll explore your emotions, memories, and how this loss has affected your life. At your own pace, we’ll work toward coping, healing, and finding meaning again—helping you carry your grief in a way that honors your love and your bond.

  • A cancer diagnosis changes life in profound ways—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. In therapy, I provide a space where you can process the complex emotions that come with cancer—fear, uncertainty, grief, or even hope. Together, we work on coping strategies to manage stress, strengthen resilience, and find meaning and balance through the journey. I also support loved ones and caregivers, helping them navigate their own emotions while caring for someone with cancer. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and less alone, no matter where you are in your experience.

I help adults navigate anxiety, heal from trauma, and find calm after difficult experiences. I also work with individuals coping with cancer, rebuilding self-esteem, developing healthy coping skills, and healing from the loss of a beloved companion animal.
