Frequently asked questions.
Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and it’s natural to have questions about the process. Below you’ll find answers about therapy, telehealth, and what to expect when working together. I offer in-person sessions in Carmel, Indiana, and provide bilingual services in English and Spanish. If you don’t see your question here, please feel free to reach out — I’m happy to help you learn more about how therapy can support your goals for calm, balance, and emotional well-being.
Therapy Basics

I accept private pay by credit, debit, or HSA/FSA card. I do not work with insurance or provide superbills, which allows me to focus fully on your care rather than administrative requirements. Many clients appreciate the added privacy and flexibility this provides.
-
In our regular sessions, we’ll move at your own pace—talking through what’s been happening, exploring your thoughts and emotions, and practicing ways to handle challenges with greater ease. Each session builds on the last, helping you deepen your understanding of yourself and feel more grounded and confident as you grow.

Getting Started
-
Once you reach out, I’ll respond as soon as possible—usually within one to two business days. We’ll start with a brief conversation (by email or phone) to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping for. From there, we’ll find a time that works for your first appointment and go over any questions you may have. My goal is to make the process simple and stress-free.
-
That’s completely okay. Many people feel unsure at first. You don’t have to decide right away—sometimes just talking things through can help you figure out what feels right for you. I’m happy to answer your questions, explain what therapy might look like, and help you decide if now is the right time.
-
Absolutely. You’re encouraged to ask any questions you have before scheduling. I offer a brief phone or email consultation so you can get a sense of how I work, what therapy might involve, and whether we’d be a good fit. It’s important that you feel comfortable and confident before beginning therapy.
